Love, what is Love? When asked to write a short description of Love for a friend i started thinking a lot about this question. My first thought led me to God’s Love for us and the relationship between a Human and God. What can you do to impress God? NOTHING! You can’t do anything to impress the one who has seen it all, the best and the worst. You can only better yourself to be, i don’t think ‘worthy’ is the right word, but better for Him. God is Love, God is constant, His Love for you is so and thus He Loves you the same no matter what. Unconditionally. So, again, there’s no way to impress him. Love therefore, won’t make you strive to impress, but rather it is the stuff that stretches you, pulls you to be better. It is the catalyst that makes you do things beyond your own ability. It is what gives you purpose to do what you were created for. Love is what holds this fragile human existence together, it’s what binds us to The Creator, which is why it is what helps us be who we were created to be.Now, in all these things my thoughts do not stop at Love being mutually exclusive between God and Human beings. God is Love, and any True Love is God’s Love. Humans are all made in His image. We reflect God’s characteristics. Even if they do not know their creator, Love is the greatest thing that any one human being has that reflects His image on them. True Love between two people, does not aim to impress. True Love, reflecting God’s Perfect Love, causes this growth or this “betterment of one’s self.” So in Short, What is Love? God is Love. Love is livelihood, is living, and is life. Love propels life, and propels us toward life and growth.
These are just some thoughts I wanted to share with whomever. i have really only scratched the surface.

so true... after i was done writing that paper on "what is love" my mind was going crazy with thing about what love really is.. my prof told me that "what is love" is somthing that only God really knews what love is ... yes we all have love but our love can just be really sick deep , but Gods love is to the heart .. deeper then any love we can offer... But love does stretch us to be more... it is fun be it seems that we have to impress a person to show love... like i big gift or flowers, but love is really just impression on each other... It is just amazing how small we are compared to God... Just look at the whole bible ... from the begin to end it was God's love within all the rest of the choas and trouble there was love... if i had to ask God for one thing i would ask him What is really love?

you, obviously, are still searching for love's true meaning... which means you certainly should not be making decisions based on "love" with another person. guard your heart and close your lips until your quest for "love" is satisfied by it's author and creator alone.
